    I think its a bit strange considering no matter what word you call it, you're still talking about the same body part. If you were to say penis, dick or cock, wouldn't it be strange for a female to say "I'm so offended by the word penis, its so gross...BUT I LOVE COCK!" Of course penis isn't really the cool or preferred term. If its just that you don't like the object in question at all then maybe that is the problem instead of the word used.
