Is it normal that i hate to talk on the phone?

I would call it normal, but then again I'm like that too. I will even go so far as to completely forsake contact rather than use the phone.

I only answer if its my mum or a select group of friends

i only talk when i have somthing urgent to say but yea me too i dont like to talk on the phone i hate awkward silence. besides its better to talk in person than thru a device

I hate it too. It's so awkward and it always seems that people call me at the wrong time! Then on the rare occasion that I do answer, I feel like I'm being pressured into making my life sound interesting. If I don't answer, people get butthurt! Usually, what I do is text the person back awhile after the call or I'll just ignore it. Talking on the phone is just so annoying and stressful! >_<

I despise talking on the phone. I avoid it at all costs.

I hate talking on the phone too. Conversations easily get awkward and dull. But I don't really like texting either. I much more prefer face to face.
