I hate those kinds who keep screaming that they are a man of god.
I am like " Good for you but no one asked."
I am fine if they are not too much religious.
But too religious people I hate them to a certain extent that I just plainly avoid them.
I don't know if you can relate to any of this.
Christians just cherry-pick what parts of the Bible are meant to be followed, they don’t care what the Bible says unless they find something to support their bigotry.
Its bigotry to be religious now? Kind of like the op saying he "hates" religious ppl? That kind? We are in trouble in America if being religious is being a bigot.
The prestigious ones do, the whole on the other hand are just normal people going about life and through faith are hoping for an eternal exsistance of bliss.

The argument for that is that Jesus supposedly stopped the need for us to follow the old Jewish law. I personally think that the only parts of the law we needn't follow are the ones specifically mentioned in the New Testament. The shrimp one's fine, though the wearing of clothing woven of two sorts is debatable.
By this, do you mean people who cultivate a deep, lifelong love of God, or people who talk in an obnoxious way about having done so?
If you're talking about the latter, I really don't like those types either.

People can believe whatever they want, but if they choose to shove their beliefs in my face I hate it.

My tutor growing up was extremely religious to the point of not letting her kids read Harry Potter. One of her kids went to Yale. They were great ppl, and so was everyone else at that church. I have experienced the annoying religious ppl before but i didn't know them. I do remember my friend hating to work sundays because these particular christians that came there didnt tip good. I think that shows terrible character if you dont tip well. Especially if youre able.
Do you have any idea what churches do with the money they collect? They use it to fund the church. Stuff like paying the electric bill and maintenance. What do you expect them to do with it? God doesn't need money. Buildings do.

I am sick of this bullcrap bigoted claim. The average pastor does not own a yacht. My pastor is a retiree who lives in the suburbs. Our church shares building space with offices. There's a congregation of less than 100 people. No one is getting rich off of that. The only reason this idea exists is because of scummy televangelists from the 80's who were absolute hypocrites and basically grifters, but because people hate Christians, they smeared it as being indicative of all churches, which is a fallacy of composition, by the way. I am so sick of this bullcrap, idiotic, bigoted claim that doesn't even have anything to support it.
The most religious people I know... rarely talk much about their specific religion unless responding to a religious question where its appropriate.
You can tell they are religious by how they act and treat people. I've found some very religious people of many faiths, and many of them taught me more about how to be a better person and live a religious life (regardless of what our specific "religion" was).
However, I'll admit that I'm more likely to think "phony" when someone starts to proclaim what religion they are and that they are so religious...
Actions speak much louder than words - and only scammers or immature people need to shout the words.
I think it depends on how the overly religious person's overly religious manner manifests itself. I don't much care for a lot of fundamentalists, because they can be overbearing bigots.

The first definition Google gives you is not the only definition. Your "nothing less and nothing more than the collective body of what has been scientifically proven" can be considered a religion. The reason I put the second definition is because "god" also has many meanings.

Yes he did. He fulfilled the law, resulting in its obsoletion. The "sword" he was referring to was the split between the Jews and the Christians. God didn't make any mistakes; he just decided to bring humanity up to Heaven with him. Your lack of religion is a religion in its own right.
I don't brag about my religiousness. The most I do is state my religiousness and tell others they should be religious.
I'm far from religious myself. Growing up I had a rule which I felt was pretty fair. Religion is like your genitals, you can be proud of it but, you better keep it to yourself and FAR from children. Forcing beliefs on those who aren't considered mature enough to give consent is something I judge quite strongly.
Recently I came across a religious person in a mutual friend group, I was expecting them to be the type to hear someone talking about their life only for them to say "It's all part of gods plan" or something. I was pleasantly surprised to see that not every religious person follows the stereotype of bringing their god up at all opportunities. I explored their beliefs even further and when they wanted to talk more on the matter, even gave them "the test" which was me voicing my honest opinion of religion (particularly theirs). I admitted to the fact that IF their god were real, I'd despise them. I'd wish to kill their god. They sat there and listened to my reasoning which essentially was that all the atrocities in life and the villains get away all the time. No repercussions a lot of the time. It sickens me, the idea that there's a being in charge of everything and yet does nothing. Still people pray to this being, hoping to get into this beautiful afterlife.
They respected my opinion and proceeded to give their perspective on religion. I was fascinated. they believed in so much love. While they loved god as he loved us all (even the villains in life) as we're all his children, they ultimately didn't believe in hell as a punishment of eternal suffering. God judges by the amount of good one has achieved in their life as opposed to whether you obeyed those commandments. They believed in allowing children to choose what they wanna believe when they're ready, NEVER forcing it like many around the world do.
Long story short, we're happily married, she's religious, I'm not and it's never once caused a rift between us like I thought it would growing up.
Just avoid them then. True believers love the non believers just as much as believers. They are yelling at you because they genuinely think you are going to hell and want to keep you from there. Yeah its annoying that they go about it by screaming at people but for some people screaming at them is the most effective way to get them to listen.
It's a free country. Hate and love who you want. I dont judge people who do either.
