Is it normal that i hate washing my hands?
I'm a reasonably clean person - I shower every day (or nearly every day, sometimes I'm too rushed), I trim my nails when they need it, I brush my teeth twice a day, I'm basically just not a dirty person.
Except in one regard - I hate hate HATE washing my hands. I don't mean cleaning them while in the shower, that doesn't bother me. I have this terrible aversion to getting my hands wet under other circumstances, whether its touching a puddle or washing my hands in the sink. I'll overcome it of course if there's really a reason to (visible filth on my hands, like from grease or whatever else). But if I can't actually see with my eyes a reason to wash my hands, I won't do it, not even after using the bathroom as long as they're visibly not dirty. There have been times I've waited in the bathroom stall at work for it to empty out before leaving because I was afraid to wash my hands but didn't want to be noticed walk out without doing it. Other times I'll turn on the faucet and pretend I'm washing my hands while making sure my hands are not in the water. I just simply cannot stand having anything on my hands.
Is that normal?
