Is it normal that i hate when my dog licks his lips?

My dog will randomly swallow or lick his lips and make this chewing noise. It sounds moist and disgusting and grosses me out. I have a strong urge to kick him when he does it because I hate this noise. Is this normal?

    This is a submissive body language. He is showing you he is no threat, like a puppy. He thinks you are unstable to get angry for no reason.

    If its your parents or it belongs to your significant other, then that's one story.

    If it's yours, then seriously calm the hell down.

    In both cases, if you kick it you deserved to be kicked in the face too.
