I hate when people misuse the word Nazi. An example of what I'm talking about is Grammar Nazi or Dirt Nazi. It pisses me off even further when those people complain about how insensitive jokes are that are too-soon.

Yeah, I've kinda been floating in and out :) I drop in the chat from time to time to talk to Charli.m and Spacey, but I've been really busy this last month or so. Could even be changing jobs and getting into the mining sector if China starts buying our iron ore again. Yeah man the fires in NSW are terrible, and I fear, that is only a taste of things to come :/
I'll just be glad when the next despotic regime rises, that way we'll be done naming people "Nazi" whenever they do something we don't like.

I hate it too. I mean, "Nazi" should not be used to describe someone who is a control freak or has obsessive compulsive disorder or just likes to correct people's spelling. "Nazi" means National Socialist (German Nationalsozialismus).
Anyway it makes no sense incorrectly using the abbrevation "Nazi" in this way. Because then it would really be a Grammar National Socialist, which makes no sense at all.
That's become a favorite scorn term used by liberal now. Libs typically resort to name calling when they don't have an argument so the word "Nazi" often rolls out of their mouths along with the words "racist", "hater" or "intolerant" when someone says something they don't agree with and can't argue their positions.
