The kids who can't yet make their mouths do what they want them to do when they speak don't really irritate me that much. It's the adults who think it's just adorable when little Hayden/Jayden/Brayden/Aiden has a lisp or talks like Elmer Fudd. It isn't adorable; it's an incipient speech impediment. Stop humoring the kid and start working on its diction, dipshit parents.

It's not normal when we're talking about children who aren't yet old enough to pronounce things properly or people with a speech impediment.

You hate kids with speech problems? Don't make something out of nothing. My nephew speaks this way and his parents don't treat it as adorable, or a problem. That's agreat way to create a self-conscious child. They are working on it but these things don't clear up over night. I remember taking speech lessons for over a year to get rid of a lisp. Although now there is no funding for that type of therapy in schools.

Yeah, they sound like little tards don't they? That 'R' must be a hard one.

Although when I was little I had a younger cousin who always said, "It 'll haw yoo" (it will harm you) and I thought that was adorable.
