When I have to pee, I always have trouble using public restrooms. I either cover my ears and close my eyes, or wait until everyone has left the restroom, until I am able to pee. Is that normal? I've been like this since as young as I can remember. It's very frustrating because I am usually in the bathroom for almost more than 5 minutes. And I always keep my family waiting.
that's normal, i used to be like that when i was in school i would wait till i get home.
It's normal. I've always had that problem. It gets easier if you work on it. The biggest thing that helped me get over it is remembering that no one cares if I'm peeing. That's what we're all there to do. (Except for that one jerk who's always taking a heinous dump right next to you.) Everyone is focused on what they're doing, so there's no real need to feel self conscious.
Imagine peeing in a military bootcamp with 100 other guys over a wall with a gutter on the bottom -- on on a row of 25 toilets with no partitions. You get used to it in a hurry.
