Is it normal that i have full conversations too an imaginary person?

Sometimes I will make believe I am someone and straight up talk too an imaginary person. Sometimes this person can be famous or someone I just made up in my head. Sometimes I will walk into my room and act as if I am walking into a party and talk to people that actually aren't there. I am in my 20's, is this normal?

I'm also in my 20s and I also have conversations with my imaginary friends. Most of my imaginary friends are from movies I enjoy.

I think that many more people have imaginary friends than they're willing to admit. There's an unwritten social rule that adults shouldn't have imaginary friends, and it permeates even the Internet. I think people who still have imaginary friends should be more open about it. There's nothing to be ashamed of.

Im 15 and i imagine whole fake scenarios in my head and act them out. I put myself in situations and talk to people that arent there. It probably isnt normal but it isnt hurting anything lol. I say if it entertains you and doesnt negatively affect your life then its fine :)

Imaginary friends in your 20's? I don't think it's really normal, but hey, who am I to say whats normal or not? But I know it certainly isn't common after maybe 5 or 6 years old for someone to have imaginary friends.

Maybe you should just talk with someone about this. A counselor. Maybe their's something missing in your life.

I'm your age and yeah, I do it a lot more than I'd like to admit. It keeps things interesting when life gets boring and its wildly entertaining. I feel like I have an overactive imagination and I can get to a point where it all feels real. So fun. I couldn't imagine my life without it, honestly.

I think that's why so many adults are depressed- they've forgotten how to play.

I've done this since I was a child and I still do. Makes my life so much more bearable. Even if my life was fantastic I would do it.

In cases like this I usually ask myself

"what would Mclovin do if he was in this situation"

My name is Willis, Bruce Willis

I do this, but mine are situations that happened that should have gone differently or thinking about a conversation I will be having later and how both sides of the conversation go. I typically do that in my car while driving and end up talking out loud.

I've done this forever! Since I could remember. I have my own little world, a sister in my head, a friend, I can talk to cartoon characters in ant separate world, it's great, a total stress reliever. I'm 1 next month, so I'm not exaggerating. Since I could remember. It happens to all people with an amazing imagination.

you just have a very very active imagination. you'll probably make a great writer, director, actor, or some other kind of artist.

I have a lot of friends and do it as well. So screw that star person. YOU ARE NO STAR, YOU DO NOT OUT SHINE ANYONE. Also, my imaginary people are the only ones who fully get me. So its totally normal.

I do, do this but i do not have imaginary friends.. I like to talk to myself because self therapy is cheaper. And if the situation happened i would know how to act. Normal!
