Is it normal that i have memories from dreams?

i have a terrible memory and a lot of times ill forget what people have said to me or peoples names/faces. however over the past few months ive been having random memories from dreams that i dont even fully remember pop up in my head. and i can remember these things pretty clearly like they actually happened even when they didnt.
