Is it normal that i have trouble breathing while taking a shower?

Have you ever have this issue? No? Well I have this happen to me quite a lot. When I'm in the shower and I put shampoo on I feel like I'm suffocating, it's very annoying! This usually happens with colder water, when the shower is steamy and the water is nice and warm I breathe fine. Can anyone relate to this? Or is it just me...

    If it's like when cold water goes down your back, then it's just that same effect, only it's from the cold water on your head. Since you are constantly being showered with cold water, you constantly feel that way.

    It could be something else, but if it's from the cold water, it's normal.

      That may be it. This happens also with rain so I have a feeling you're correct.
