Is it normal that i have two separate harry potter series?

I have two of each of the books in the Harry Potter series. One I keep on my shelf and I don't read them, like to collect them. And the other I read when I want to. Is it normal?

Yea wanting to keep something in like new condition because you are preserving it as a collectable, and having another to use and enjoy is really common.

That sounds normal to me. Sometimes doll collectors buy two of the same doll so they can play with one and keep the other MIB (Mint In Box).

So a collection copy and a reading copy? This is actually VERY normal.

My uncle does that with Hess Trucks. Every year he buys two just in case he wants to take one out of the box and look at it.
