Is it normal that i help my cat lick his furr??:9

Well I've had him since he was a kitten. I do everything for him like buy him shirts and brush his furr, clean his ears, take his eye buggers off with my finger and I collect his nail sheddings but recently when he starts licking his furr or cleaning himself I feel sorry for him because he is a big cat with long hair so this takes him awhile and I feel bad for him so I help my boy out and lick his furr too...is this normal??

That's amazing! There is someone a few posts down who says exactly the same thing. You should arrange to meet up and form some kind of group. Maybe you could lick each other's cats? Or is that crossing a line?

I mean, I've kissed my cat on the top of the head before, but have I ever LICKED her fur before? Have I ever LICKED the fur of any cat before? No, NEVER. That's NOT normal. You sound like Angela from the Office who was so obsessed with her cats that she was seen licking one of them to help keep it clean. Lol!

there's nothing wrong with spoiling pets a little bit, like dressing them up and brushing them. but you sound a little over the top. your cat can wash himself..you don't need to help with that.
