Is it normal that i just want to live to be 48 years old?

I know that someone can be healthy in his or her 50s and beyond but the risks are too high in my opinion (Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, arthritis, senility, terrible aches and pains, incontinence, and dementia) and I don't want to take that risk. It's fine if others want to live 49+ years but it wouldn't be okay for me and I shouldn't live beyond 48 if I don't want to. The cons of living to my 50s, 60s or 70s (80s even or older) far outweigh any pros that I could gain from it. Not only would living beyond 48 increase my chances for health problems, but it would also mean having to be on this planet longer and 48 years is all that I could take living on Earth (I think 48 years is a long time to live and I doubt that I'll change my mind on the matter). I'm not trolling and I don't have a bad life. It's rather good to be honest. I just don't want to live beyond 48.

I'm currently 19 going on 20 next month.

Kid you're gonna wake up one day at 48 and feel like 20 was about a week ago. You're not gonna be ready to die.

As I say to everyone who posts this drivel, I'm 66, sailing around the Caribbean on a sailboat with my girlfriend and having a blast!
Sure, some mornings I wake up with a few aches and pains and some I don't. I'm not as strong, agile and quick as I used to be but I'm more affluent, experienced and stable.
Like all the others, you haven't a clue what the future will bring and you could get killed in a car crash tomorrow, so stop wasting your time thinking like this. Live each day like it's your last and at least when you do die, perhaps you won't have any regrets for the things you DIDN'T do.

Biologically speaking age has nothing to do with years.

I want to die at age 27. We won't grow old. We're going to be legends.

Seriously just adding to MacG's obviously correct answer.

At 48 you will have the same feelings as now, you won't have a 'bad life' and you won't want to die!

Seriously many older guys get these younger girls and you want to miss out on that. No way man, No way in hell :D

Plus your family may be a tad upset if you die at a 'young' age of 48. THINK OF YOUR CHILDREN. It just aint right.

And 48 is NOT old damn you!
