Is it normal that i learn things much faster on my own.

I am a grade 11 student,(I suck at English, IT's not my main language)and I have a hard time learning almost everything in school. I spent time learning things by googling and trying figure it out on my own. Like: Air drag coefficient, quantum leap, and Electric current resistance.(etc) My learning speed is way faster than the pace of class. I find that When I am learning thing on my own, I can feel the thing. It's like the model is all built in my mind and it's like my subconscious is leading me, it got them right most of the time.(most)I feel like a genius. But I don't feel any of that in class.In class I Can't think and felt very stupid. Every one else seems to have no problem, and that made me think that I am a weirdo.

    Very normal. I am constantly searching for new knowledge and information, and find the distractions and "help" of other people to only stunt my search.

    One learns best when one is focused.
