Is it normal that i let my ferret eat out of my toilet?

The other day I had a McGriddle with a large Diet coke for breakfast... for lunch I had 2 bean burritos and a chalupa from Taco Bell and for dinner I had Taco bell again. Plus I was taking shots of Bourbon all day. So needless to say, I needed to shit baaaad. After my huge dump, I got in the shower without flushing the toilet because I didn't want the water to freeze! After my shower, I stepped out and saw my Ferret leaned over my toilet eating out of it!!! I shooed him away and he ran out licking his poopy lips. is it normal that I let him go back in and finish eating? I wonder if he could get sick from this.
