    Height doesn't make a man manlier or a woman womanlier. Also, there's no rule that a man HAS to be taller. Ask her out. :-)

    from the pov of a third person, its absolutely normal.
    if this makes you feel a bit more accepted- there is this one character in a horror game named 'lady dimitrescu' and she is very tall, 9'6″ to be exact. the internet had gone insane over her.
    so you are valid, as long as the girl in question has no problem with it either
