Is it normal that i like crosses?

First of all, I'm an Atheist, so I don't believe in Christianity, Catholicism, or any other religion that issues crosses.

Second, I'm pretty fashion-forward, so obviously I like the more modern clothing, especially with patterns.

I especially love crosses. Not for any religious reasons, I just think the shape itself is pretty.

People tell me that I shouldn't be wearing crosses if I'm not religious because "it'll give everyone the wrong idea."

What do you think?

    Don't go stealing our symbols and sinning while you are wearing them. You make real Christians look bad.

      I only wear crosses because they look pretty, and I really don't try or want to make Christians look bad. I don't think that I'm going around sinning all over, I barely go out and do anything. I don't drink, smoke, sex around or anything like that. I am, however, (possibly) a homosexual, so I guess that counts...
      I'm not "stealing" your symbol, anyway. Its not like crosses were made just for Christians. Clothing with crosses on them are sold everywhere, so basically anybody can "steal" them.
      At least be glad that I'm not the kind of Atheist that HATES religion. I don't hate it at all. I totally and completely respect others beliefs, I just do not believe in religion itself.
      I'm sorry if I upset you; that was not my intention at all, nor will it ever be.

    Wear a pre-Christian Celtic cross or Hindu swastika then, I suppose. That way everybody's happy.

    I like Molotov cocktails. Same thing really. They both kill people. The only difference is that one is a Molotov cocktail and the other isn't.
