Is it normal that i like pc gaming as well as console gaming?

as opposed to those who feel the need to bash one platform just because they like the other? I've always believed there are genres that are best suited for console (racing, soccer, 4 player mario kart etc) and others for PC (fps, rts, mmorpg). So it's rather realistic to like both

I use and love both.
PC - The desktop is the most powerful, fully customisable and updateable. You can make a monster that plays the latest titles in 4K at buttery framerates, or for the price of a PS4 you can make something that will outperform the PS4. Mods - where would Skyrim and many others be without mods? PC has the biggest gaming library by far.
Console - the idea of a dedicated gaming device is alluring. Sony has a great ecosystem and it's just nice to use a controller and have everything prepared and done. Cheaper, however one would need to purchase various consoles to enjoy the full library from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.
Is there a need to take sides and wage war against eachother? No. Is there a need to save Princess Peach's ass yet again or emancipate the land of Skyrim from the mighty Alduin? YES!!

I've played both all my life, and don't see any reason for stupid PC vs Console wars. It doesn't matter.

I liked both too. I still pretended I was one or the other online just to banter and troll.

I love both. I grew up with both DOS computer gaming and the SNES, Genesis, and later the N64, PS2, and Windows PC as a young girl. Now I have two PCs (one for gaming and a laptop, also mostly for gaming) and twelve consoles. Love them all for different reasons. I don't game on mobile, however. I haven't owned a cell phone since 2009, and I don't like f2p so I don't feel like I'm missing much. To the people who like gaming on phones, all the power to them. I kind of hope it gets them more interested in video gaming in general so they'll dabble into the more hardcore stuff.

PC is much better for most games other than a few exeptions such as casual games, racing or sports.

I don't like either, so you can like both.
