Is it normal that i like scratching my crotch?

I really like scratching my private area, even if I don't particularly itch, sometimes it almost feels better than an orgasm, and anyone watching me would very likely come to the conclusion that I was masturbating to orgasm, as it feels so good my whole body goes stiff and I unconsciously close my eyes and hold my breath. It isn't masturbation, though even though I am touching my genitals for pleasure. Am I the only one who feels this way?
