Is it normal that i like to look at people?

I don't think I stalk anyone. But, when I am out somewhere and see people, I have a habit to look at them and see if I know them or see what sorta mood they are in. I don't stare. I just occasionally glance over and then move on after a few minutes. Is this normal? I ask because one time I looked at some random girl and she like freaked out. I think she isn't normal for freaking out, but I want a second opinion. But, the more important question is, am I normal?

    I sometimes do this when I am bored especially in college. It has kind of became a staring battleground between me and one of my fellow classmates. I usualy stare at everyone individually in my class but she seems to be one of the ones I stare at while she is staring at me and so we have a stare down.

    Observing is natural just don't over do it or it may cause you some trouble. As long as you don't look at them with a perverted face on.

    When my family and I go to an amusement park I people watch. I don't do the rides because I get motion sickness real bad. So, when my family is on a ride I sit down and watch people. Sometimes my eyes hurt! Sometimes I see eye candy!

    I like to do that in the mall. After shopping alone, I sit on a bench and just look. haha, good times. ;)

    I look around..like a normal person..at sky...people..buildings..mannequinns in picture windows.. I never "stare" at people because I have no reason to do so and I don't wanna be a douche bag. There is something very primal about staring at other people. If you like to do this, I strongly encourage you to get another past time b/c one day someone may really not like it and you may get hurt.
