Is it normal that I like to put my cat in the refrigerator for like ten seconds, then open it up and hug him? I like to do it on hot days especially because he feels so nice and chilly when he comes out. It's so funny because when you open the door his eyes are HUGE black balls because it's so dark in there.
it might not hurt the cat, but i'm sure he doesn't like it. so really that has to end. don't torture the poor kitty :(
O my god. I hate u!!!!! And I bet ur cat does too!!! They have no oxygen in there at all. That definitely is abuse. U better stop. U obviously don't know crap about animals or like them
I say...don't ever treat an animal or human the way you would not like yourself to be treated. Imagine, hypothetically that a giant came along and put you into some surroundings you were not familiar with..how would you feel..??
That is halarious, but probably made up. Putting a cat in the refrigerator for 10 seconds will not make a cat cold, that isn't how refrigerators work.
people you need to calm down. to the fuck that said that there is absolutely no air in a fridge must be a complete moron. ate you telling me you vacuum seal your fridge? if there was no air in it, you would not be able to open it to put the catin in the first place. it is only ten seconds and my cat enjoys it on a hot summer day after sitting in a hot window for hours. she comes out purring. would a tortured cat come out purring? you guys need to stop with labeling strange things people do with their pets as abuse, unless you have hard proof to the contrary. ten seconds in a fridge does not abuse make.
Why are you people so hostile towards this? You people are making this out to be that of which, "A twisted psychopath that ties animals to train tracks.... Sure on the surface this may seem cruel, but in reality a cat is being placed into a LARGE insulating device for a mere moment. This is in no way a reason to go apeshit crazy and make this poor kid out to be the very manifest of cruelty in its entirety.... It seems that you people are the ones who should be seeking help.....

ok i LOVE animals but i have to admit i have done this but never leave him in there more than a few seconds and dont do it too often
well maybe you shouldnt do that....it could harm them even if its ten secnds....
It's not normal and it's completely cruel.
There are plenty of other and inherently less cruel ways of getting cooler than putting a poor animal in a fridge.

My cat has a bad habit of standing in the path of the fridge door and putting her paws on the inside of the fridge. One time she jumped in there on the shelf. I got sick of it so I just closed the door, counted for ten seconds, then let her out. She was fine and actually since then she doesnt try to get in the fridge anymore.
