Is it normal that i like to rub corners on my finger?

is it normal that i like to take corners of clothes, pillows, etc and rub it on my finger? I've had this habit since I was young, I find it completely satisfying, but my friends don't understand it and think it's weird

    I totally do it, under the finger nail around the nose and eyes to. just feels good.

    Probably not quite normal, but it doesn't harm anyone, so why worry.

    i used to do that with my blanket! there needs to be a name for this. i know theres a yahoo group for us..its called fingers n fabric. I think its an anxiety coping mechanism.

    The tips of your fingers? If so, me too! On everything that's a lil sharp I rub the tips. Its such a habit, im trying to stop!!
