Is it normal that i like to smell my cat?

Whenever I'm holding my cat, I like to hold her close to my face and smell her fur. She always smells really good, like clean laundry or fresh air, and I love the smell of it. I also like how soft her fur is and how it feels on my face. There's nothing sexual or perverse about it, I just love how good she smells, and how soft she is. Am i a freak?

    I thought I was just weird but I have always sniffed cats when I pick one up. It must be a paternal/maternal thing, as I have 2 small children and find myself smelling their hair when I meet them.They live with their mother and don't see them as much as I would like.Cats are part of our pack I think : )
