Is it normal that i like to smell things?

This might sound really weird but I like to smell things. Like jewelry, books (I love the smell of books), my fingers. Not gross things like the floor or anything covered in dust. But it's become a habit for me and I'm trying to stop it. It doesn't necessarily "ruin" my life, but it sorta worries me, if this might be a sign of OCD? Because I've been constantly doing this, every other day, sometimes week. I like to smell things because i think that I might get a sense of who's touched it before me, but nothing ever happens. I don't know why I keep doing it, because i don't smell anything.

I have a problem when I smell things in a store like shampoo or lotion. I slightly squeeze the bottle so the stuff just starts to come out for a better whiff, but I always end up with it on my nose. Haha its ridiculous!

I have a good sense of smell and can't help but smell things. I use it as I would any other sense. Well, maybe not taste.

Normal, you have a preference to all things olfactory.
I myself have a tactile fixation, not in a creepy way. But I just need to feel things. My sense of touch seems to be the one sense I am most connected with. You, it appears, are more connected with your sense of smell.
