Is it normal that i like to walk/run around in circles when i get excited?

I have a habit of whenever I get excited about something my legs will walk/run in circles on their own, I don't know why but I also often have no idea that I am walking/running until I snap out of my excitement. I've been trying to find other people who have the same habit as mine and I found some, they said that they went to a doctor and the doctor said that the habit might be related to ADHD, I don't know if I have ADHD or not but I'm just gonna trust them for now. (Sorry if wrote something wrong, English isn't my first language)

"When in danger or in doubt; run in circles, scream, and shout." is a very old saying...

    Normal...

Finally, someone has succeeded in teaching a Shetland sheepdog to use the internet!

it's obviously better to see a specialist medical professional—but I don't think anyone doesn't know this, so it's not really that helpful an answer, and I would personally find a non-informative answer such as this to be very condescending.

There are many valid reasons to attempt self-diagnosis—deciding on the merits of seeing a specialist, what non-medical treatment might exist, etc. So I'm not happy with people treating anyone attempting self-diagnosis as acting irrationally.

I'm not actually trying to self-diagnose it, I just wanna find out if it's normal or not and somehow wrote about the ADHD stuff, thank you for the suggestion tho :]

My cousin who has autism always used to do that as a kid. I believe it's a form of stim that some of us on the spectrum has.
People with ADHD of course also stim.

I walk in circles sometimes, but I'm always aware of it (I've been diagnosed with Asperger's).

It seems to me to be qualitatively different if you aren't aware of it though. I'm a little dubious that it can just be explained by either autism or ADHD, especially if this is your only significant symptom of either.

If it is either, it sounds closer to ADHD. I walk in circles when I'm trying to concentrate, not when I'm excited.

        Your English is perfect btw

Instead of self diagnosing based on what people tell you on the internet, go see a professional and find out for yourself.

It's not always that easy or affordable to get a professional diagnosis for something like that
