Is it normal that i like wearing wigs?

I've had an obsession with wigs since I was seven. The first wig I ever got was a Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) wig from Disneyland, and ever since then, I've loved wearing wigs.

I have about six or seven wigs at home right now. My hair is dark brown, and it's straight. I like wearing wigs that make me look like a different person, so I have blonde wigs, red-head wigs, and more.

It makes me feel unique and cool when I wear wigs, but my parents and friends think it's kinda odd. Do you think I'm weird for liking wigs?

    I've already recounted my experience with wigs here a few weeks ago. I loooove them! And I already like you. :)

    I prefer the ones that are the same color as my hair and I love those that have the bangs that blend in with my own, giving that more natural look to the top part of it. Whoever invented that is a genius!!! I do appreciate other colors, but fantasy colors not so much. Those are obviously not my hair. Part of what I like is to throw people off. Once I went to work and this guy, who I had never spoken to, approached me and said: "You're way hotter than your sister". I replied: "Oh...? I'm an only child. But, thanks." and resumed work.

    I think wigs are great. They come in so many colours and styles. Each day, you could take on a new identity and go with it.

    I had no hair until I was about 4-5, so as a girl I felt terrible!! My grandma have given me one of her wigs as a little kid and I NEVER took it off!!

    Now my hair is very, very long but I do enjoy the thought of wigs. It's just so impractical for me, and I'd never part with my long hair just for a wig. I bought one a few years ago and did manage to wear it a few times but I felt so uneasy because it felt less than secure, I don't know if it was just me being nervous or if it was due to the mass of hair I had piled up underneath it!! I ended up giving it to my transvestite friend!! He loved it!!

    The idea of being able to change hair colors and styles every day is cool though. If for some reason I ever had to cut my hair or lost my hair, I'd have a blast with wigs!! The only thing I wouldn't like about it is those moments of walking around looking stupid without my wig on, or I suppose it would be super embarrassing if it fell off at an inopportune time. Well, plus what happens during sex?? I guess you'd say I like everything about it except for the insecure moments, which seem aplenty!! Is there good secrets these days for keeping wigs on?? What about for wearing wigs if you have long hair??
