I absolutely love animals and sometimes I feel like they are so much more love-able than people. I could never get tired of them unlike some people i know. :P
I know exactly what you mean! I love animals, and I get very sad when they die/get hurt in movies. Perfectly normal !!
Some people find them therapeutic. :)

Yes, that's normal.
They don't judge you.
They want to be loved by you.
All they ask for is food, and shelter, and some attention.
Oh, and they can't say harmfull things.
Today i ordered a large delivery pizza. I took it to my room and started eating. I got threw half a slice and decided to get sumthing to drink. I left my room for half a sec, came back, and caught my dog eating all my fuckin pizza... I never in my life kicked anything as hard as i kicked that damn dog.
I kicked it so hard it slid across my carpet, it got up and i kicked it again. FUCK THAT DAMN DOG!! FUCK that dogs momma, FUCK that dogs daddy, FUCK the first dog that ever walked this earth, and if ur a member of PETA FUCK YOU 2!!!
It's normal. Many times I enjoy the company of animals more then people. The thing about animals is that they don't know how to lie and act dishonestly. Human beings are much more intelligent yet we are prone to corruption and greed.
I prefer the company of my dog to people, and hopefully I give him a good long life, and when he is gone I will rescue another....
He will never lie to me, never steal from me and always be loyal.
Very difficult to find a human that will fit those standards. Easy decision to make.
Animals love you uncondionally and never let you down. Infact they don't know any different than to love you. So yes I vote for normal. x
There are a lot of ass-holes and more animals that will do more courageous things than a human being.

Seriously, I love animals SO much more than people. This sounds terrible; and YES, I realize this, but I would rather see a random person die than an animal. When I tell people this, they usually think I'm being ridiculous. I can't help that I feel that way, though. SO yes, I think this is completely normal!
I don't know if it's normal, but it's not a real problem unless it truly alienates you from everyone around you. But it doesn't sound like that's the case. I absolutely adore animals, but personally, I love the depth that human interaction can bring. I live in anticipation of the next great conversation I'll have with someone.
There's poetry in the pure simple love I remember with my childhood dog - I'd rest my head on her belly or she'd rest hers on mine, and we'd just take a nap. But there's something incomparably beautiful to me about the gravity of the human, joy and sadness alike, we're passionate beings.
But of course I can't blame you for finding more poetry in other animals. They're pretty amazing too.
Depends on the person; Do I love any non-human animal more than Neil Degrasse Tyson. Of course the fuck not.
Do I know who this is?? Maybe not... But yeah that is normal. There are a lot of jerks and b****s out there but if you take care of your pets well they can be better than some people.
I agree. Sometimes I meet some people who are not that nice, and I think, the more people I meet, the more I love animals.
Omg yes this is normal....I also love dogs more then most people....as others have said they never let you down and are always there for you....

I love my two cats more than anything in this world...okay I love my child equally. Sh...t your not alone. I love animals more than people.
They never do me wrong. I have been used,abused, by people.....but never by my cats.I love them to death.

Well there seems to be a lot of people that feel this way. Maybe you can huddle up a gang and everyone's pets and go live somewhere far far far away. Or just live in an abandoned house and get all the pets you love and live there. Whats stopping you?
It's not normal, but it's very justified.
