Is it normal that i love anime, but i get annoyed when other people do

is it weird that I love anime and video games, but I find it annoying when other people talk about anime or when they get really obsessed over anime and video games? Like the otaku types, you know the ones and all they talk about is anime. Is it normal to get annoyed at this even though I like it myself?

    I just hate the ones that think being a fan of anime is some kind of competition. Like they're judging you based on how many animes you've seen and what animes you've seen. The way they see it, if you haven't watched at least 40 animes or if they're too popular, you're pretty much kicked out of being an anime fan.

      I dislike those types too. They accuse others of being fake fans or look down on other fans just because they like a certain genre more than others. It's pretty annoying. lol

    The only anime I do that with is Gurren Lagann. I could tell you anything about it. It's my fav XD ... um but yes I feel weird (not good weird) when people talk about anime like that.
