I love dogs and want more each time I get one. There just so friendly! There cute but, hard work and I think I'm saving a dogs life each time I get one. Well because, I take such good care of them, is this normal or not? Please comment!
why would you have to keep taking them to be safe unless they are in a bad environment?? seriously, take them ALL to the pound so they can go to a loving and caring home where they will actually be looked after properly.
why on earth do you have to keep taking those poor dogs to the vet EVERY MONTH!!!! what have you done to those dogs for them to get sick like that??? please take those dogs to the pound so they can be looked after properly PLEASE!!!!
What you are doing is called "animal hoarding" and that is a form of animal abuse. You need professional help.
sounds like your vet is an idiot and knows you are an idiot too so they are just doing what they can to get money out of you. its a real shame.
that still doesnt explain why you have to take them to the vet every month.....

it's fine as long as you don't become an animal hoarder. i've seen animal hoarders on tv, and some of them have so many pets their house is overcrowded.
I hate those animal horders, those 3 dogs I have actually came from horders, the aspca, took those dogs from the owner, my aunt fostered a pregnet dog and when she gave birth(the dog),she gave birth to 4 puppies, I adopted 2 and the mother (I resently lost a dog to distemper and took a spiraling depresion) and made me really happy and here I am 2 years later.
There IS a limit though--people that cross over into animal hoarders are in denial and don't realize the position they've put themselves and their beloved pets in.

My vet is a girl and I do have the proper care for them I do take them out my job is not so busy like you think.
I take 3 to the vet a month (they are pups) The others go each 6 months, the vet said that was the right amount. For a puppy to have the best checkups to bring it each month. So I know I'm right.
Actually more dogs die in a pound. Even the vet says I have the perfect environment.
Excuse me if you wanna sit here all night on your fat ass you can or you can just go with what I say, the truth! They have a great environment at least they have the best home than any other k9 can get. I think you just want my animals sorry but the can't live in your home its unsafe. I mean their bodies like to get them trimmed or a nail trim. Guess you don't know what the vet means it does not always mean getting a checkup! THINK WOMAN???
If you would take the freakin' dogs outside and not keep them confined in a ROOM, they wouldn't need to have their freakin' nails trimmed all the freakin' time!
If this story is true -- which I doubt because I would like to believe people as dumb as you are do not exist -- every time you walk into your vet's office, he sees dollar signs. Fools and their money are soon parted!

Im the writers sister she is not a hoarder she takes care of them well. They go to the vet each month she feeds them and waters them well. They share a big I mean immense huge room that has lots of light, and beds. They each have lots of toys. She has been telling me that there are lots of people saying insults please stop. I am her little sister and trust me she is not a hoarder! :)
As others have said, if you don't like the answers, then don't ask questions. Your so-called "sister" (we all know you and your "sister" are one and the same) should not be keeping 5 dogs in a "room," no matter how "big" it is. Dogs need to run and exercise not just be fed and play with toys. You need to get a freakin' LIFE. Sorry, I meant your "sister."

I'm not hoarding! I only have 5 dogs! My yorkie, named Sugar my pomeranian , max my shih tzu , Teddy my maltese named , princess and my toy poodle Lily. They have a great home with the biggest room in the house that they share. They get attention. I am at home most of the time so I'm fine. I'm just asking is it normal to love dogs so much! Go to some of the websites about animal hoarding and you will see that what this person is doing is the kind of behaivor that leads to animal hoarding. This person should be either going to school or working, not staying home hoarding dogs. Just look at how this person writes! He or she could benefit from a course in English grammar.

Its normal, Man's(or Woman's) Best friend I had a frenzy like that once, I once had up to 7 dogs, but now I only have 3.
my sister has 5 dogs. as long as you look after them then it doesnt matter how many you have.
