Is it normal that i love first-person shooters?

I think it is normal for me to want to play on Call of Duty games most of the time. The latest one I have become quite involved with is Call of Duty: Ghosts which I have already completed the Campaign for. Others such as my friends and family have told me that I need to get a social life and that I need to get a hold of some friends but that is my trouble : I do not want to. Call of Duty is my friend and that's all I need, really. Please choose : normal or not.

Exactly what are eighth person shooters?

Do you really have to ask that question?

That is when you play yourself in yourself in yourself in yourself in yourself in yourself in yourself in yourself in yourself in yourself

8th person shooters are just unstable that is why I like 10th more.

While I'm not much of a gamer, I do have my own obsessions- like having fangirlish daydreams about my favorite fictional guys. I can entertain myself for hours imagining their romantic escapades. I feel like these characters are my friends, and I don't need real ones. Different obsession, same principle.

I feel like this kind of thing is normal, especially if you're introverted and/or have some kind of social disorder (such as social anxiety, schizoid personality disorder, Asperger's, to name but a few)

It may not be everyone's normal, but it's my kind of normal.

There's 'first person shooters' and 'third person shooters' so what's a 'second person shooter', seriously?

I prefer RPG's. I find beating the crap out of a giant beast more fun than shooting everything in sight.

The way you have worded that has truly made me chuckle. I've got a cold at the moment. :-( so not been checking internet lately

Despite this, my most powerful characters favored weapon is a repeating crossbow.

Ŵell, when you are as good at a game like that as I sometimes am, it can get quite interesting. I also have obsessions with Coin and Cookie Dozer. But who has not got an addiction with that, hey?

So normal. Well I say this cause I'm the same anyways. Call of Duty has been my therapy for the past few years.
Third person shooter games just aren't fulfilling enough.

I'm an addict myself but there really is so much more out there than games. How can you call that a life?

Quite easily, really. What is that you're addicted to, then?

I'm more of an RPG type of guy. I get wrapped into things like day Z or dark souls pretty easily. But I've managed to stay out so far. Especially for a game like COD I can't see how your life can ever be exciting, if you're playing video games all the time, how can it ever change, or be something more?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this is just an obsession of yours and isn't truly fulfilling, and if it's anything like my own experience, it's to replace all this available time, or to just run away from something. But I don't know, truly.

And by the way, when I say there is so much more out there, I don't mean just hanging out with buddies at a bar, or seeing movies, I'm talking about actually pursuing something more than just a way to kill time.

I sort of see your point but when you don't have many friends anyway, it can get harder in life for you.
