Is it normal that i love my driving instructor's attention?

I'm in a pretty solid two year relationship that's going through a rough time, and i keep finding myself really excited about my classes and particularly about the time i spend with that man. Is it normal? just an innocent platonic fling? or no, a sign that its time to change something?

I am female and also had an attraction to my driving instructor many years ago.
    I was single though!
I think some driving instructors can have a certain sexual effect on women due to the close seating/enclosed car environment during lessons but I wouldn't read anything deep into this, especially if you are in a pretty solid relationship.

i think particularly the act of being taugh by a wise strong man, who makes me feel really safe and hes really psychological, sences all my fears, insecurities and it really feels like he gets me, and that gets to me... i know its a temporary thing but he makes me feel so nice...thats what i worry about. thank you :)

How can it be "pretty solid" then?

it is, and we have been living together for those two years (big story, he was in another country and when he came back just moved in with me until this day) the thing is, he's unemployed right now so i get home to someone who's frustrated and understimulated, i know its not his fault and i feel horrible for saying this but i find myself really interested about talking to anyone else to be honest lol

    You want his cock.

This is because your driving instructor is showing a close interest in you (ie your driving)

Obviously you are missing that part in your 'solid' relationship.
Try asking your partner to show more interest in you. Helping you in your day to day issues and just being there when you need him.

The driving instructor is being PAID for this service. Its not what you are looking for in any sense of romance.

Lol im obviously not considering any sort of relationship with my instrutor! what im really questioning here is myself, am i in some desperate need of sexual freedom (im 20it would be understandable) or is it normal to feel atracted to someone else in this situation?

        Understood.
The last part of my comment was just to bring this thing back down to earth.

What 'I'M' saying, is that you may be missing some intimacy with your current b/f, that this 'other person' seems to be showing you.

You are special and the main person behind that wheel.
I hope you are even MORE special to your partner (in both your minds)

It does help to be able to get things out. Even if its just asking others to lend an ear, the reply comment may just be a bonus :)

But those 'missing' parts. Would you care to elaborate? Or is what I (and others) said enough to help you now?

By the way you are special, everyone is. But we ALL still need to hear it and feel it at times.

I know! yesterday i finally got sometime alone with one of my bestfriends and got to complain! it was amazing, and gave me a little push to stop ignoring this and think about this seriously.
But i live in a really complex relationship, one of those that when we're good, its like i died and when to heaven, but when we're not, i feel like he is just a curse i got for cheating on him years ago (that is the reason why i now put up with, honestly, pretty much an abusive relationship)

is it normal that even after posting this, discussing it with people, getting to the conclusion that its just a temporary thing and that i should be patient, i still feel the same way??? im still more interested in my driving instructor than my own boyfriend?? all he does is bitch, pick on, argue, blame me, complain about how i do everything wrong while he does nothing at all!!!! oh god i hate my fucking life
please people, dont ever date anyone your own age!! you're gonna have a bad time

-im sorry for letting this out here, but there's no point in writing anywhere else he will see it

If you cant make it through the lil rough cuts with one man, you won't be able it with another. Stay with your man. Your probably feeling lonley because your man isn't giving you enough attention and now this instructor gives you some and your being swayed away. Dont make a stupid mistake. He's giving every other student the same attention, its nothing special.

I had a friend who was a driving instructor. he had a young women who after many lessons passed her driving test, and she was so please that she invited him to her flat the following night at 7.30 He was married but thought what the hell, so he got himself all geared up thinking he was going to have sex with his former pupil. But when he got there, he was invited in and it turned out to be a bible class, he was there for hours with all her bible buddies. No sex was had. i still smile when i think of it

Who the fuck needs a driving instructor. Do you need a walking instructor too?

Um... yes, when we're learning to walk, genius.

Or did you just waltz out of your mother's vagina?

But didn't you need a licensed driver next to you when you were learning to drive?
You know driving a car is not a natural thing (like walking) its something people need to learn to be a safe responsible driver on our roads.
I take it you have watched stupid drivers on YouTube? Are you in them?

Yes, typically it was a family member or friend. I didn't have a "driving instructor" nor did I need lessons. It's like those Geico commercials... you know "So easy a cave man could do it."

Yes I agree with this, since I'm doing the same with my son presently.
But the concern is that if the other family members had bad habits they weren't aware of.
Like to avoid a pothole in the road, just drive around it. Whereas a driver instructor would say slow down and possibly even come to a stop if it was directly in your way.

There are a million examples that the driving instructor is suppose to be up to date on.
ie (another one, now you have me going) If an emergency vehicle came up behind you (with lights and sirens on) are you allowed to drive up on the side grass or even side walk to allow them to pass? A lot of people don't know this answer!

Can you make the car 'safe'? (ie turn off, and a whole lot of other 'known' stuff)
Did you check all mirrors tires seat position etc etc before even driving? (you're suppose to, especially if you want to keep passengers safe)
Should you overtake a slow car, or just sit behind them (2 second gap) (if less than 5miles an hour just stay there)
When the lights at a controlled intersection go green do you just take off? (Obviously no)
What is the main purpose of driving? For fun? (No, it is to get from point A to point B safely)
Can you use your HUGE driving lights in a residential area, waking up all the homes? (Yes, of course, as long as there isn't another car you are blinding)
Can YOU have an emergency light on your roof just for fun? (No, its illegal)

This just goes on and on. MOST older 'family' members may not know this stuff, and they are then passing bad habits onto you.
Everyone needs an experienced driving instructor even for about 2 lessons minimum, just in case!

32 lessons , Christ that'd cost about a million bucks here. I had 3 , I bought my car 2yrs ealier and I was driving for the two yrs without a license before I actually booked in for some lessons, had to have someone to take me for my test. My dad use to say when I'd get home sometimes , you got your damn license yet !
