Is it normal that i love my two kittens this much?

I just wanted to know what others think or if they feel the same. I got two kittens about two months ago, I adopted them since their pregnant mother was abandoned. Before I got them, I wasn't a cat person at all. More of a dog person but I so adore them. I think they are so gorgeous.
When I am at work or college, I can't wait to get home and see them. I think about them a lot. I can't sleep properly if they are not sleeping in the bed with me. When they are around, I seriously can not leave them alone. I am also stroking them, kissing them, picking them up and carrying them around like babies and cuddling them. It makes me so happy when one of them comes and cuddles me, rubs their scent on me or licks me.
I am scared that I am turning into a cat lady. Me and my friends used to take mick out of those women all the time but now I am becoming one. I really do not want to end up like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTTwcCVajAc
So is it normal that I love my cats this much?

    Aww, I was the same when the person I was with got a kitten. I'm a dog person but I was completely taken with the little ball of mew.

    How could you look at a kitten and not feel this way. Damn things are so frikin cute that you can't help but love them.

    Try acting manly in front of a girl when a kitten comes rolling into the room like a little ball of fluff tripping over its cute little paws. You can't! It's impossible!

    I was about to post a similar question myself. My last cat died at age 17 and it totally devestated me. He went everywhere with me, to travel, visit friends, wherever. Loved to sit in my lap when i drove. Anyway i guess i am becoming the cat lady, though i am a one at a time cat kinda girl. My "new" kitty, ive had her 5 years, is my beloved favorite thing. Maybe its weird, but i make major life decisions fully with her in mind, like, how is this or that going to affect her? I find it an incredible gift to have creatures in our lives who we can exchange so much love with, without the complications of human relationships. Not instead of, that would be weird, but alongside.

    It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy how u adore ur kitties, even though i dont know u.

      My little boy is is white with a black tail, black spots on his back and black head. My little girl is white with a dark brown tail, brown back with ginger streaks and a big brown spot on her head with slight bits of ginger. The little girl is long haired whilst the boy is short haired. Love them so much :)

    Oh my god!!!!! another cat fucker!!!!! This is what i'm talking about...these...these...fucking pieces of shit that go "oh i love my cat sooooo much". What they really do is rape them. Get the fuck out of here you cat molester!!!!
