Is it normal that i love the sims but...

It pisses me off to no end that when you get the pc version they print the registration codes in a little booklet and nearly half of my booklets got lost. In order to get a new code you have to contact ea games and pay for a new booklet. However you can find the codes for free on the internet. Personally I think they should do away with the code since people will post many different ones on the web and eventually you'll find one that works. Does it annoy anyone else they print the code in a booklet that will more then likley get lost or ruined and then they make you pay for a new one?

They should print them on the disks, really.

That would be stupid because when the disc is in the computer you'll need the registration code which is on the disc which is in the computer.
How can you type in the registration code if you can't read it because it's on the disc inside the computer. Think man.

umm, i have a multitude of games for all different formats, a lot are many years old and im pretty sure I still have all the booklets still. Its not that hard to not lose the booklet. You obviously dont look after them properly. I bet you never bought the game with ur own money. Did mommy buy it for you? awww try spending your own money and see how well you look after it

To the op; maybe when purchasing new programs once you open it, just use a sharpie and write the code on the disk in the event you need it again and you are notorious for losing booklets.

Maybe just print it on the disk as well as the booklet. That way if you lose the booklet, it is still on the disk. Because technically if you're supposed to purchase the item, what good is the disk with no code? We all know to go online to get a free code, but if you're trying to be legit and use the code you purchased, having it on the disk to write on a paper, if you lost the booklet, only seems reasonable.
