Is it normal that i love to read the same books over and over again?

Reading an old book again is like visiting an old friend. i have a list of books that I read every few months. Some of them are from my childhood; others are ones I've read throughout my adult life.

I read the Talisman once every few years, my favorite novel ever. Same with Wolves of the Calla

The Talisman is definitely one of my re-readables. In fact I have a great many Stephen King works on my list. I'm a major fan. I have also read the entire Dark Tower series. I should read it again but i don't own it.

I've read most of King's stuff. Early was great, kind of lost me for awhile but last half dozen have been excellent. Also a big Koontz fan but don't re-read them.

I totally agree and I do the same, in fact I have several teetering piles of unread books but usually pick up something I've had for years and read several times.

I'm often surprised when I find something in a much read favourite that I haven't noticed before.
