I've been 18 for less than a month and, I was chatting to a teenager online that had a similar interest as me. When I revealed that I was 18 they freaked out and, started acting like I was a pedophile.
I get depressed easily and, I feel as if they are right.
Funny thing is, I'm asexual... -_-
Unless you were showing sexual interest in a child, I don't understand how they could act as if you were a pedophile? What were they (or is it h/she?) responding to?
I've always been of the opinion that anyone can talk to anyone on the internet, I didn't think anything of talking to adults when I was under 18, and don't see any problem talking to kids now (as long as they're not annoying). Though I prefer to keep all personal details including my age under pretty tight wraps partly to avoid awkward situations like that.
well how much younger than you were they? if they are 17 they are acting ridiculous.
At 18 years old I'd say anyone younger than 15/16 is to young even 15 is a push although it's only 3 years difference. I think it's just they are not mentally responsible at that age.
Even talking to people in person or how they look in their display pictures. i honestly don't know how old teenagers look anymore. majority of the girls look like they're in their late teens and early twenties but end up being 16 =\
