Is it normal that i'm 45 and like to read childrens books?

I am 45 year old female,and I love to read children's books by myself. I find the stories interesting,and I can even relate to some of them. My favorites are the 9-12 year old category,but I read younger books too. I've tried reading age-appropriate novels,but find them boring. Is this normal?

    at least you read, I know plenty of people who don't. Nothing wrong with reading Harry Potter or anything else
