Is it normal that i'm a guy who's scared of sexual stuff?

I'm a guy and I'm really scared of having sex with my girlfriend. I'm really comfortable around her and I want to do it, but every time she goes to do anything sexual I freak out (like cry or try to hide or whatever). I've had some bad experienced with sex in the past and I've also been sexually assaulted, but is this any reason to be scared to do anything sexual with her?

    Yes under the circumstances. Try talking to her about what your problem is, you also need to understand that she is not going to hurt you. Whenever you start to feel anxious use that as a mantra "she's not going to hurt me", also have her push your boundaries slowly. This will help if done right.

    Did you ever receive help for your abuse? I mean, I do think that it has a big thing to do with why you react like this. I hope you'll be okay :)

    I think that you should try hard to overcome your problems, if you and your gf have a good relationship than she'll understand and work through it with you slowly. Talk to her about it, communication is key as is for most things.
