What? What are you saying? That reading is bad? Reading a good book is NEVER bad. Unless, you do happen to find a bad book that wastes your time and insults you with how bad it is, of course. But no, don't be silly. Reading a book builds literacy. You read more, you'll probably be more articulate with words.
My brother had this for about 8 months but he was stuck on My Little Pony at the time so he was reading like 800 page MLP fanfics
If I'm understanding this right? You have nothing to do but read, and when you get done you feel a day of slump.
It could be a reading slump. Those happen.
Otherwise you need to switch to longer books to avoid the feeling when you're done.
Other otherwise you should examine what you're reading, why those books and stories, and then what you're getting from them.
I enjoy a good bit of reading myself, but I mostly read nonfiction. The two books that I am reading now are:
The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma
Book by Bessel van der Kolk
Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving: A Guide and Map for Recovering from Childhood Trauma
Book by Pete Walker
That means you've found a good book. Congrats.
It probably feels overwhelming to you right now, but the obsession will pass soon enough. Have fun!
