Is it normal that i'm afraid of heights and looking up at tall things?

For about most of my life I've been afraid of heights, as time went on I'm much more used to it by now, but for as long as I can remember at the same time say I'm at the football field at my high school standing next to one of those really really tall light posts that illuminate the field at night, when I look up at things that tall I kinda lose my balance and get the exact same feeling as when I'm afraid of heights. Is that normal?

I have a extreme fear of heights. I don't like to be around ferris wheels and I can't even go to amusement parks anymore. If I'm in a wide open space and I look up at the sky, I'll feel queazy and start to loose my balance. My heart will start pounding. I went to Europe a few months ago. When I sat on the plane I was somewhat fine, but then I was realisation. They told us to buckle up and I had a panic attack. I yelling and cursing. Saying that I wanted to get off the plane and something about dying. They wouldn't let me get off!!! So, I took my anxiety pill and I was sky high.

If I sit in the bleachers of my school gym, and look up at the ceiling, I panic.

Definately normal. I am terrified of heights, and won't go near a ferris wheel. Actually, one of the most common fears/phobias in the world is a fear of heights. No worries, just don't let it control your life, once it starts doing that, then you might have a problem and may want to ask for some help to overcome that fear from someone.

I get that all of the time! I am terrified of heights, and refuse to go up any building that is taller than 10 stories.

I'm the exact opposite, I love heights and tall things! I wanna have sex with heights and tall things! The best is when you're underneath or right next a to tall structure, look up and see it reaching up in the sky, as if it's trying to be closer to God. I simply love it! I have to visit the Burj Dubai someday, which is currently the tallest structure in the world.
