Is it normal that i'm afraid of losing my ears?
Well simply because I am unable to see my ears I have an irrational fear of losing them. Like they may have just dropped off or they are just not there at all

You've given me a lot to think about...
I've never considered this before
Start wearing glasses, then if they fall off you will know that your ears are no longer there to support them.
Hmm. I do get anxious if my ears get plugged up with water or wax though. I get freaked out.
You might want to see a therapist about this. The ears are odd in how when touch them they are somewhat sensitive and the sounds that are picked up are magnified. However, when you let them be idea it is very easy to forget that they are there. It's highly unlikely that they would fall off. If they did fall off you'd have to have some type of bacterial infection or perhaps, a disease like cancer. Ear cancer is rare and so are severe bacterial infections. Do you instead fear that someone will chop them off? This too is highly unlikely. I suggest wearing a hat that covers your ears in the mean time.
never heard of anyones ears just falling off..u may need to take some xanax for your nerves
No, they won't just fall off.
Also, even if your ears were to be removed, your hearing would hardly be affected.
You mean like they will fall off? Well there is this fear of getting your limbs chopped off. I forget what its called and fear of having your teeth fall off. Maybe this one has a name too.
I can't say if it's normal or not, but it does make sense. The ears are a very sensitive area, but at the same time it feels like they're not there. I get where you're coming from. Just don't worry, they're not going anywhere. Unless someone cuts them off, but you'll feel that for sure...
