Exactly what it says in the title.
I don't wanna feel it, I believe that it will make me more weak-minded and pathetic. I don't know if I'll ever feel it, or if it even exist, but I'm scared.
Yep, I feel similar. I want to love and be loved so, so bad. But, I am also terrified of the commitment of it.
I feel that way too. Love is a test, but if you fail it can ruin you. I keep my distance.
I feel your pain. Love is something that I want but I'm afraid to have. When i notice myself developing a crush on someone I immediately push it aside. That is, I'm afraid of unrequited love. I feel that If i don't love anyone then maybe it won't hurt when they leave my life. If don't let people into my life then maybe it wouldn't hurt so much when they... let me down.
It's normal to be afraid of it, although not necessarily for the same reasons. I think in some ways it depends on other relationships we have observed, particularly our parents'. You mention "weak-minded and pathetic". Maybe you saw someone making too many sacrifices for a destructive relationship? People taking advantage of each other, losing all self-respect, that sort of thing? It doesn't have to be that way! True love should not weaken you. The important thing is to know who you are and to stay true to yourself!

No, never seen such a couple, but I can imagine how horrible it is.
but of course it's not the only reason why I'm scared.
I afraid of becoming an overprotective control freak, I afraid of falling in love with someone who doesn't care about me, afraid of being humiliated, etc...
I suppose, I'm just not ready...
Sometimes you have to make yourself vulnerable in order to get something that could end up being the most amazing thing in your life.
