Is it normal that i'm christian, but don't like its views on sex?

I'm Christian, and I believe in God and Jesus and the trinity and all of that, but I don't follow the sexual morals. I don't think it matters whether or not you wait for marriage, and masturbation is not a sin to me. is it normal for Christians to feel like this? Also, do you believe that this is a bad sin?

You don't follow a religion just because you like what it says. You follow it because you believe it's good for you.

Religion is what you interpret it to be. If you feel sex is unsinful, that's your belief.
Thinking you need to conform to someone's set rules because they said a god won't like it is silly. Only YOU know what your god will accept/disapprove of.

Consider this: Jesus never mentioned sex before marriage as a sin, it is only mentioned in the old testament as a sin. And for one to be a Christian, one has only to follow and accept the teachings of Jesus Christ and that he is the son of god and that he was reborn etc etc. That being said, it's my personal opinion that promiscuity is not right, and perhaps he would have agreed lol. As long as you're in love, you respect yourself, you're responsible, old enough and faithful to your partner that you've been with for a while and you respect and trust, and not sleeping around, or sleeping with random people for the lust aspect then where's the sin in that? SORRY MY REPLY WAS TOO LONG
