Is it normal that i'm embarrassed by the word "puberty?"

Yeah I'm kinda over it now but I remember that the word "puberty" always made me really uncomfortable.

Now that my dick is massive and there's a jungle in my bungle...it doesn't really bother me.

Thoughts?

    YES it is a really ugly word for such an awkward stage in life. It sounds like a terrible affliction. Thankfully, it's followed by adolescence, which has a much nicer ring to it.

    Its a really ugly word, doesn't roll off the tongue well. And it's immediately associated with so much stupid stuff, no one takes you seriously when it's mentioned.
    Very normal.
