Is it normal that i'm extremely immature?

All my life I have been immature for my age. I have ADHD, and I can't ever shut up. I have had very few boyfriends, and I am 19. My friends love hanging out with me, but I embarrass them a lot. I don't want to do that. :( Am I normal???

I'd rather an immature girlfriend than some stuck up bitch tbh

  • I'm 29 and haven't matured a bit. Hopefully you don't grow out of it. People with adhd are more fun to be around too.

You sound like a fun person if your not bitchy.

Being mature is one thing and liking to have fun is another. Everyone deserves to have good immature fun sometimes but as long as you have common sense and maturity when it matters, you'll be good :)

I'm 22 and I also have ADHD. My Boyfriend and I has this agreement that I ramble and babble about and it's al-right for him to tune out and not actually pay attention to all of my nonsense.

My biggest issues is my mood-swings and my ability to over-think though.
It does help to talk to others in the same situation and you feel less alone.

I'm ADHD too. Cause of this I'm considered weird. So only a few girlfriends.

My boyfriend is the life of the party, but it is tiring for me at times because he can't stop talking! Less is more sometimes. He gets frustrated because I need some quiet time. I'll be trying to watch TV or reading articles on the computer, or trying to cook and concentrate, and he is talking LOUD about politics or (please stop!) sports! He winds up the most around 10:30 p.m., just when I have trained myself to get sleepy because I have to get up for work. He will get all loud and riled and want a tickle fight, totally waking me up and getting me too awake to sleep. It's a disaster and it seems very selfish to me.

So although it's your personality, always remember that learning to turn it off with your loved ones will help your relationships a lot. They have needs too, like sleep and down time. If you think of them and curb it when they ask you without getting offended, you can be the highlight of their day.
