Is it normal that i'm more comfortable talking to dogs than people

When I see a dog (or any animal) anywhere I could easily approach it and greet it. When it comes to people, I cannot even look at them in the eye.

      Makes sense. I have a feral cat in the sump nearby who hangs out with me whenever I go by.
