Is it normal that i'm pretty close to my brother-in-law to be?

So I one of my sister's is engaged and honestly, her fiance and I are pretty close. We like a lot of similar things and we are both open with each other about our political views. I know that if they were to break up, him and I would still be friends. I do want to make it clear that he is like a brother to me, and that is the only way we view each other.

    Is being close with your siblings partners a problem? I’m very close with everybody married in, my brothers wife even moved in with me after he passed.

    It might get odd if you end up siding with the partner instead of your sister if there’s ever any fights, but as long as you have no ill intent I don’t see a problem.

    Males and females can be close friends without shit being weird, as long as you aren’t some sex crazed idiot.

    Knowone gets to choose the family, race, or situation we are born into.
    But we do get to choose our other family,,,
    Our friends.
    I think it says a lot more about who we actually are.

    Then pretty much it has nothing to do with engagement and relationship.
