Is it normal that i'm scared of butterflies?

I have been scared of butterflies for a while now. When I told my friends they gave me a weird look. My best friends know I don't like bugs and critters. I only know 2 other people that are scared of butterflies. Is this normal or am I that crazy?

    Low key that is the only insect/bug that I am afraid of... Only the ones with the patterns that look like eyes on their wings though.

    As odd as it seems, this is actually very common. My ex was afraid of butterflies too and I have seen this asked several times.

    Yerr a bit crazy...I mean butterflies flutter by and they look nice and they don't bite, so there's no need to be fraid
