I've lived with 2 cats all my life, after an accident i had with a cat a year ago i have been scared as hell to even go near them! Am i normal, over reacting? or am i just a pussy... lol
a big jungle cat might kill you, but a small domestic one won't. they're not scary at all, they're cute and sweet. :)
I was scared of my previous cat. She was a tortie with the infamous tortitude. Very temperamental, she was prone to become very violent if she didn't get her way. However, I'm not scared of my kitten. She's an Oriental Shorthair who is very nice and never seems to get agitated or malicious.
I'm scared of them too. I keep having recurring dreams about cats attacking me.
If the "accident" did not involve either of the two cats you live with then your fear is irrational.
Everybody has things they're afraid of, especially animals and other creatures. It makes sense to be afraid of something that hurt you. So I say you're normal.
i love teh kitteh xD but large cats could kill you so be afraid...be very afraid..of them of course and a lil kitty shouldn't be so scary
I'm somewhat afraid of / dislike cats. i must admit, it's something that was passed down to me from my parents. both of them a terrified of cats.
