Furries as in people who dress up in animal costumes, kinda like sports mascots.For some reason these people scare the f*ck out of me.I don't know why.
They made me dress as a lion for a school play when I was about seven. We had to shuffle around on our hands and knees and form a circle. Because our hands and knees were occupied with walking, the only way to maintain the circle was to hold the tail of the person in front of you in your mouth.
Well, it was a fairly tight circle so I kept feeling the tail in front getting away from me and I could also feel the costume getting tight around my hips whenever my tail was getting away from the person behind me.
Then suddenly the circle seemed to loosen and everything was okay. Until we dissembled ten minutes after and I saw my tail in the mouth of the girl behind. She'd bitten it off and had carry on scrabbling around with it in her mouth.
It was a dark chapter in my life and I always imagine being a furry as an adult involves recreating what happened to me as a child. For this reason, I too am afraid.
